Hi Here are some pics of Trevor, my 6 month old Lab. He loves water and sticks (the bigger the better) and will happily drag tree trunks and logs around the park. Must be a macho dog thing!
Hi All Thanks for your comments! I'm a very proud owner and completely biased but he's growing up to be a very handsome lad. His only fault is that he is capable of sniffing out the must disgusting substances to roll in when we're out walking. He's ruined two collars in his short life this way and takes great delight in trying to share his repugnant smells with his owners (if he can catch us!). That's just dogs though isn't it. Glad you enjoyed the pics and will post more in time.
he has a beautiful shiney coat, he looks like he is going to be a chunky boy, i remember my mum and dads lab, when i used to take him out he used to head for all the muddy puddles to roll in and anything else mucky or smelly that he could pick up or find, i think it's a lab thing, but hey how can you resist that smiley face, waggy tail, and cuddly chunk, they are so funny.
My little guy is exactly the same, the more disgusting the smell, the better in his opinion!!! I loved the pics,I adore Labs, they are so beautiful,my Aston is a Lab cross and every black Lab reminds me of him
Aww what a handsome boy he is, very healthy looking, lovely shiny coat... One lovely dog you have there!
Hey thanks! Have to admit he does look pretty shiny in his photos and I put this down to cod liver oil (one dessert spoonful in his feeds), the occasional raw egg and getting him used to grooming at an early age, Now, when he sees the brush he sits up all proud and can't wait to be groomed. Has to finish off with a tummy scratch (with brush) though or I get a reminding nip I did a funny thing with photoshop where I managed to colourise a photo of Trevor so he loked like a Chocolate Lab. Deep brown coat and bright blue eyes but, unfortunately, can't upload it as a photo so can't show you! Did him as a red setter too!
Hi Joanne, Beautiful photos of your lab, i was just wondering what breeder you got him from as i think he looks very similar facially to my 5 yr old black lab- molly xxx
Hi The breeder's name is Jane Thickness and she lives in Stamfordham, Northumberland. I can provide more contact details if you're interested. He's a pedigree so I can tell you his father is a working gun dog, KC registered, named Campcolis Otto and mother is KC Registered Kenmilltree Leah. I know Trevor is a bit of a daft name but his KC name Kenmillix Mylo.
I think trevor is an ace name!!! They don't come from the same breeders, but without looking at Molly's pedigree i can't tell you whether they are related. But he is a very beautiful boy! xxxx
Got any pics posted of Molly? I'd be interested to see her and compare the resemblance. Thanks for your comments, you're very kind! I've seen loads of lab photos but never thought Trev looked like anyone other than himself (although how much difference can there be between black labs?) Saying that, he definitely looks like his mother. I have a photo of her somewhere...let's see Very dark photo I know. Maybe copy it and lighten it somehow. Mentined her KC name was Kenmilltree Leah, but she's known as Rosie. Trevor was from her second litter.
