Japanese Shiba Inu Discussions

My main love is Great Danes, but I have owned a Shiba, and totally agree with "Archer" they do not think they are small dogs. Also a point to add to the colour descriptions, mine was a red sesame.

Here's a few pics of my two - Lennon is a red sesame, who is 15 months old. Roxy is the rather portly black and tan (she has Hypo-thyroidism) who is 9 years old

Lennon is my fifth JSI. I have been unlucky with the breed so far, losing three to cancer at a relatively early age (9). I am hoping my current two can break the jinx!

Hi all,
Just joined and thought I'd say "hello" I have got 3 shiba inu's 2 girls and a boy(whos been done) so no nasties
I have a white bitch "beryl" who has done me really proud in the show ring as she has now got 2 CC, boy doesnt get shown he hates it,and I have a Black and Tan puppy who is only 8 weeks old and a real sweety.
So thats about it,for me lot OOOPS and then there is the nutty boxer bitch maxi and she is great
