Does anyone know any reputable Lab breeders please, A friend in the north wales area wants a golden Lab puppy. Any advice would be great thank you

The only breeder i know of in Wales is the "Linjor" affix. We see her dogs at a lot of shows, they are beautiful and seem to have lovely temperments, they concentrate mainly on the yellow labs i think If you do a search im sure they have a website, or the breed club could give you the info i'd imagine
Please tell your friend not to call them golden lab's as breeders are very touchy about colour (Yellow, Black & Chocolate)
A "breeder" near me used to breed "rare white" Labradors, he doesnt do them now, but he does a nice line in rare "Orange" ones!!!!! upto £800 a time too. Dawn.
When I first had Oliver my BF said he prefered the darker golden to the white coloured golden he almost had his head removed by a breeder
Fox red is in the breed standard From the Kennel Club breed standard: I noticed at a show i went to a few weeks ago that the yellow labs are getting as pale as the Golden Retrievers now. I personally dont like the white retrievers, i much prefer the traditional golden colour - I'd be really sad to see the labs go the same way! There was a completely white one in the ring. It didn't do very well (its movement wasn't good at all, looked lame to me!!lol) but its worrying that people are breeding and showing that colouring... Its pigment was just awful!!
