Hello, I’m Carolyn Edlind and I’m thrilled to learn more about dogs!! I’ve had 8 Weimaraners since I was 11 years old and they’re my favorite breed.
Hello Carolyn, welcome to Breedia. This is quite a sleepy site but we don't bite so feel free to post your pictures and comments.
ln the first post is a vet I think and he has a Berner with 2 bad cruciates. I wanted to respond to his post. Not sure he's still on here but: The US has had Berniers with average lifespan of 6 yrs so breeders waited until both parents were over 8 yrs old to improve their lifespan. This has finally been almost fixed but cancer runs in their lines. So I fail to see why a vet would breed a dog with 2 cruciates that needed surgery. This is not healthy and breeding with surgery issues shouldn't continue. You'd be passing along the bad cruciate to buyers and it's expensive surgery. That's irresponsible breeding instead of gaining longer life you jeopardize that with other expensive issues.
Hello!! I'm new here so not sure how to do everything correctly just yet (LOL) but I am about to be a fur grandma my two Pitbulls are having puppies within the next month or two the male is a white pitbull and my female is a brown and chocolate brindle and I'm just curious what color puppies could I be expecting from the two colors? I'm beyond excited to see them and how beautiful they will be! Please let me know if you know anything about the color the puppies could turn out to be! Thank you! (I added a photo of the two so you can see their colors!)
