Only Canada and USA call them Bohemian Shepherd In Germany they are called Chodenlanderhunde Finland - Tsekinpaimenkoirien Netherlands - Boheemse Herder
Hi Pam, I'm glad you posted this... I was just about to alert you to the section I found that the general consensus regarding the name was the Bohemian Shepherd - what is the correct international term (for English speakers)? Happy to change it if need be.
Hi Azz In English speaking countries like Denmark, Poland, etc it is always Chodsky pes which equates to Chodsky dog. I came on tonight as I got a blank email I immediately looked in the C section lol

I realize this is an old thread but I am new here. From my experience, I observed that European countries non-English-speaking, use the original Czech name, Chodsky pes. English-speaking countries use Bohemian shepherd, which is the official name of the breed registered at AKC.
