I was looking for a resource on Airedale’s and found this site. I have a 1 year old dog, Duke and he is the most people friendly dog you’ve ever seen. He is, however, not so well behaved with other dogs. He will not tolerate other dogs approaching his people. I know this is a breed trait since the first dog I remember was an Airedale and was the same. He will play with other dogs all day until his people approach that’s when his attitude changes. Any ideas on modifying this trait? Regards, Gumpond
Is the Airedale Terrier for beginners? This is the first thing that came on my mind when I saw this dog breed. As we observe, they are very energetic and outgoing. To make them get along with other dogs is to introduce them slowly and make them comfortable with the presence of other dogs.
@Leon Elias Maier - you have linked to a German site [in German] which appears to be primarily a site selling products connected to various breeds. Is it your own website?
