Hello, All. New to the forum as only really have the one query and want owner experience rather than Google generated answers. I currently have 3 French bulldogs, one which is 2 other two (brother and sister) are touching on 6 months old, now, my question is, The two 6 month olds ears do not seem to be going up, one has one up one down other is both down... I have taped them both hence why I have one with one up one down, but the other both are down and don't really show no signs of going up. They have been taped numerous times but to no prevail just flop back down again. Now this isn't what I'd say is a major issue, for obvious reasons I'd prefer them up, but, I was just wondering is there ever a time when they just don't go up? Any advice or previous experiences would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Hi, when I picked up my Frenchie (at 9 weeks) his ears were already up... He's taken his time growing into them actually lol. Really sorry to hear your 2 havent gone up yet. I know some of my friends have had similar issues, one had the ears go down due to poor blood circulation into the ears, and another who's pups ears didn't stand for months like yours... Till on morning he went downstairs and found his puppy with pointy ears. Probably best to speak with the breeder and if no answers from them I'd book in with a vet just to ensure all is well. Apologies this isn't too much help. All the best.
The breeder was mother in law so we see first hand both mum and dad dogs, it's just odd to me really, as I say with a Google search didn't really find any adult frenchies with they're ears down so thought I'd try here! Thanks for your response anyway!
I’m going to sound like a broken record, but here is our youngest at 9 months her ears deployed before we got her.
