Guys -- I recently had my 4 year old Giant Malamute's back legs quit working. He completely went limp in his back legs. He does have feeling and reflexes, but cannot support himself standing/walking. His third eye-lid is slowing and starting to drip. Eye is RED. Tested for Lyme, Negative. X-RAY's look good, no damage. MRI was normal. Neurologist said it was normal. Blood was normal.
If it wasn't for the eye problem, I would suggest a trapped nerve may be causing the rear end problem. It could be just coincidence with the eye - conjunctivitis?? What has your vet suggested as possible causes?
Thanks for the reply. The vet has literally said he has no idea. Mentioned that the MRI would have shown some sort of inflammation/irregularities with the nerve being pinched, but nothing was shown.
What has the vet suggested. Maybe hydrotherapy and physio would help, if not get him moving, maybe pinpoint what is going on with him
