Not yet! I am pretty sure I will get a Sloughi, but I also want a small/medium agility and sports dog, and I am crazy interested in the Kooikerhondje
Although in the last week I have been offered a Cocker Spaniel puppy that someone can't keep and have been contacted by the person who runs the breed club for Picardy Sheepdogs asking if I was still interested as there is two puppies available. So I have had lots of offers I still have the old boy here and I don't think he would be too impressed if I came home with a puppy!
Pretty dogs, and should do well at agility. I considered one when I got Eddie, but that was for obed. and I felt they were a bit too active - then went and got a Beagle! Doh.
I feel compared to a sloughi a kooiker would be an angel in every way! haha. I am going to be at Discover Dogs helping out on the Sloughi stand this year so I will be popping over for a good chat to the kooiker people there!
Sports I want to try are agility, rally, lure coursing and weight pull. The only one of those a Sloughi would really be into is chasing things and not listening to its owner haha
