Hi,

There are not different types of breeds there are different bloodlines within the breed. American Pit Bull Terrier is the official breed name, but many lines exist.
There are also different types within the breed, some are multi type or inter bred but pet, show, pull, hunting, fighting, ect.

This doesn't show diversity within the breeds but a good base for the some of the bull breeds, including the Pit Bull.
