Just want to say hi and introduce my boy, Oscar. Oscars around 4 years and 5 months old. I got him when he was 7 months old.
What a beauty and welcome to you both. I have a friend who has a Rotweiler, she is so gentle, but, I live in France and they are classed as a “ dangerous breed “ which comes with many rules to be followed I have a Japanese Akita, Yoji and in Spain ( a 2 hour drive from me ) he is classed as a dangerous breed A point that could be debated for sure Keep the posts and photos coming, we love to see happy dogs xx
It's a shame some breeds are classified as being dangerous just because of their size. All dogs can be dangerous, especially when they're guarding their home. Oscar is a little of everything, a great guard dog and a gentle family pet. The only problem I have with him is that he can be a little dog aggressive. I've never had an Akita mainly because I've always just loved mastiff or bulldog breeds. I'll try to post more photo in the future of Oscar.

Actually, I grew up in England . I decided to go to China 8 years ago to start a new life. I live in a village with mountains behind my house and a river an hours walk away.
