Hi everyone. I was wondering if there is a way to get Akitas to get down from their high heels and play with other breeds. As we have no Akita for her to play with. She gets along very well with other Akitas.
We have a two month old akita puppy and she only really gets along with our other dog who is a Rotterman. He is about 150 pounds but she loves him to death. I take her to the dog park a lot to socialize her because I will not tolerate her being vicious or funny with other dogs but when I do take her she does growl at the other dogs. It'll eventually knock out of her system, the best bet is to keep socializing her more and more.
