A few recent photos of my two.

Now the snow's finally disappeared and the weather's getting warmer it's a pleasure to be outside with the dogs. We've been doing some training in the garden and have been for walks around the top of the land but have yet to venture onto the cart track and across the fields until the ground's a bit dryer!

I see what you mean about Prince G's hairstyle! A mini Bouvier, never mind, it's keeping out the cold.
    Georgina is looking very perky.

No need for a sweater at the moment! :D

She would confuse me as I would find it difficult to read her expression.

They are both lovely and the pictures are delightful. Thank you for sharing them with us. :)

I met my first Shar Pei at a Dog Training Club when there were very few of them in the country. I was a little uneasy at first because I just couldn't read her in the way one could any other dog.

My unease didn't last long needless to say and I was soon besotted! My Hairdresser had one, and she says she won't ever have any other breed.

I hope Anika knows how to shear sheep because that's what he looks like at the moment as the last time we were at the groomer was the end of October.and because of the snow and fog we haven't been able to get there.

Pei have a very subtle body language which lots of people find difficult to read. The most expressive parts of their body is the tail and the face, but you do need to study them closely to really be able to "read" them.

Georgina's in seventh heaven now she's allowed to be off lead. She's very good though and never goes too far. I'm just looking forward to the day when I can let Gwylim off the lead too, but at the moment he's too fond of disappearing through hedges and I don't fancy having to follow him!
