Ex racers, aged 3 or 4 years, Johnny and Annie are looking for sofas to curl up on. Good travellers, walk nicely on their leads, friendly, but probably best not to live with cats or other small furries! Please apply via our website http://www.findingfureverhomes.org.uk/adopt_me.html
Annie has found a lovely home but sadly Johnny is still in kennels. He has been joined by 4 other greyhounds, two boys two girls, all in a sorry state. If anyone can give a gentle patient home, please read more details and apply http://www.findingfureverhomes.org.uk/adopt-me/
Why are there so many greyhounds Homeless,is it because they are just used for racing and not as pets. A few questions about them. Do they all ways need to be kept on a lead and if so, do they not miss out on needing the excercise. Do they get on with small dogs? and last by not least. Do they shed? A few questions, I ask because I think they are lovely. I looked after one once and she was. So calm and quite a bit aloof really but that may have been because she was staying with and I wasn't her owner. Thanks
