Beagle from Dogs 4 Us is a Harrier HELP!! Questions

    Harriers are not recognized by the Kennel Club. This is because the Masters of Harriers and Beagles want to keep the breed pure and bred only for what it is meant to do...hunt!

    In short, Harriers are not Beagles. Harriers are a type of hunting hound.

    I don't know if Mooma is still on this site but just in case I wanted to let them know that I have a beagle who is a pup of Gilcoru Donny.

    I have my dog's KC certificate with family history so can trace back the heritage to see if it matches with what was given.

    I'm really pleased to be able to welcome another Beagle owner. I don't think you are likely to get a response on this old, convoluted thread, ( it would be good if you did though ), but do feel free to start a new thread if you want to talk Beaglish.
