Well, today isn't so bad. Its in the 30s and mild. Tomorrow is going to be a different story. Supposed to get snow then a mix then rain. And rain on Thursday. I cannot wait for spring to officially show up!
Hope everyone's safe Storm Katie has done lot of damage. Sunshine and showers here so it must have past us by .
We had a mini pond to paddle through on our walk today, but no flooding or damage to any property up here. I hope everyone in the South East is safe and warm, I think they have had the brunt of it this time.
Well it was boiling hot yesterday, thought summer had arrived, but lot cooler today and forecast dosent look to good.
Beautiful! Summer has finally arrived... To hot for the pooch though, I think an ice pool may be needed for tomorrow
Awful! After weeks of temperatures between 30-40C, it poured with rain last weekend and we had to cancel training on Sunday. The dogs only managed to get a very brief walk, both being convinced that water wot descends from the sky is highly toxic, spent most of their time in bed. And was it cold... the temperature dropped to a freezing 15C! Being too lazy to light the fire (or turn on the central heating) I got out my winter woollies and walked around all weekend bundled up like an Eskimo!
How do you cope? I would just be a sweaty blob with a headache. We have been threatened with over 30° today, and the dogs are alternating between toasting themselves outside and cooling off in our one sun-free room. We really should have walked them at Tina o'clock, so I think they will just have to manage with a toddle through the wood for today.
Another scorcher here, im not complaining as it gives me an excuse not to do anything. OH took Heiko at 7 this morning and hell get another walk later in the evening. Funny how different dogs react, Kyra was a sun-worship-er whereas Heiko hates it.
We took our 11 dogs [got 2 foster dogs as well at moment] for walkies at 4am this morning & we won't be going walkies again until 9ish tonight maybe later if its still warm. Have bought our 9 dogs them cool jackets & each dog as a cooling mat too cool jackets cooling mats
What happened to 'Summer' we are on amber warning for gale force winds, looks and feels like winter here .
Yes, your area has been featured on the news. They are giving warnings about people standing on the rocks, watching the waves. It is so sad about the family that had to be rescued. Take care in those high winds, - no doubt we will be sweating again in a few days.
