Hi People's I haven't posted for ages because last month my laptop had a nervous breakdown and ended up spending a week in "hospital" being restored to health! It's now up and working but for some reason only known to itself, it kept logging me in to Breedia with with my Dogsey user name (and as a new member), and it's only today thanks to Azz's assistance I'm back to being Pork1epe1! The weather here's been stinking hot with most days at least 30 plus degrees and a few where its been 40C and almost to hot too breathe! We've managed to go to training but as our lesson is at 8am when it's cooler, and it's an hour and a half's drive to get there, has meant getting out of bed at 5.30am and by the time we've done the drive back we're all shattered ... which isn't my idea of a fun Sunday! Poor Georgina's has a UTI ... her second and has been on antibiotics which has been distressing both of us, because she's either been wetting her bed in the night or has been waking me up at some godforsaken hour in the night needing to go out for a pee and we're all suffering from a lack of sleep! Gwylim and I have been away on our hols for a couple of days, leaving Georgina with Kinga our trainer because it was too hot to take her with. What an adventure we had, but I'll tell you all about it along with photos! And photos taken at training showing how well my "non" athletic Pei is doing! Think that's all for now! Barbara.
Welcome back - you woz missed! I am sorry about poor Georgie with the UTI and hope it clears up soon. It sounds like your weather is like ours - the heat has been going on for months with just as many more months to go - it was up to 44°C a couple of times last week. I am looking forward to hearing all about your adventure with Gwylim and seeing all the photos of course. xx
Good to see you back Barbara. I had noticed your alter ego on line, but thought you had decided to unify your accounts! Sorry to hear about the Princess, I have just got over one myself, so she has my sympathies. Looking forward to seeing your photos.
Thanks everyone ... it's good to be back in the "fold"! Good news today as well. The weather finally broke last night with a quite horrific thunderstorm and today we woke up to rain which has cooled everything down to about 24C. Such a relief! And hip hip hooray! For the first time in a week Georgina slept through the night and her bed was dry when she woke up this morning, so hopefully the antibiotics she's on are working. She's definitely feeling better because her tail's sticking up like a flagpole and she been play fighting with Gwylim this morning, something she hasn't done for weeks. She's such a funny girl .. I bought her a new bed for her 3rd birthday on the 3rd July ... much to her disgust! How could I be so cruel moving her beloved very tatty old bed? After much moaning and groaning I put her old one back and now she's happy and needless to say ... guess who's sleeping on her new one?
