Here are my two Shih Tzus. The black one is Connor and the black masked gold is Benji. You can see my little Maltese, Anabelle, peeking out from behind Benji. We were at a show and I had them in their doggy stroller to keep them clean. Both my Tzus compete in CKC Obedience and Rally and in CARO (Canadian Assoc. of Rally Obedience) which is Rally for all dogs, purebred or mixed. They have numerous titles between them as well as their Canine Good Neighbour titles.
I would have totally missed Anabelle had you not said Joyce!! Lovely dogs, all of them and I am particular impressed by Conner's standard of grooming (PS I moved your post into a dedicated thread)
Thank you both for the compliments. I do my own grooming. I am a sucker for long haired dogs so figured I'd better figure out how to groom them. If you take Tzus to a groomer they only seem to do one or two different cuts, short and shorter. It took a long time to grow their hair and when it became just too much work, as I also have two Maltese, I had a hard time cutting it all off so this is a compromise that I came up with. From the front and rear they still appear as if they are still in full coat but it is an awful lot less work!!
What glorious and extremely smartly groomed dogs - Connor in particular! But poor Anabelle being nearly squished by Benji!
