Hi We had the top winning Kuvasz in the UK for over 5 years, Several people had asked us to breed from her because of her breed type We looked around for a good male and found none in the UK (before pets passports) We then found out that 4 of her litter mates had been PTS because of severe bad tempers, She was really bad with other dogs and would wreak the place when left alone, She lives with a friend of ours and is a full working sheep dog, along with her 1/2 sister she is speyed and very happy, There are no breeders in the uk and lreland you are best looking to Europe, We have been to many show there and there are some very nice dogs Terry
I have been intouch with alot of american breeders who warned about the agression if the puppies are not socialised properly and have proper training. They never made it clear if this is a genetic problem or not though. The problem with getting one in Europe is I will not have it as a puppy to ensure adequate socialisation and training etc.
