Awwwww what a little sweetheart, I love little cocker spaniels:grin: I had one this colour many years ago, his name was Buster, but he was a homewrecker and a shoe chewer!

What a beautiful little blue roan puppy. Mine was 13 weeks old when I got him but was not suitable for showing as he had one eye browner than the other and also one ear is longer than the other. I have had mine for over 13 years and he has been the perfect pet as regards the family. We all love him dearly. He has never shown any malice with anyone and the dog groomer always says he is soo good and she wishes all dogs were as good when they come for a bath and cut. I just know I would never find another like him. My mother also had a blue roan who sadly died last year. He was such a good dog and went everywhere with them so is sadly missed.

Both of our dogs have been prone to barking at the wind at night - they just stand in the middle of the lawn and bark. It will be interesting to see if any other spaniels do the same.

Yep, mine bark at their own shadows too! and when you have 7 of them it can be a nightmare, but they are wonderful and I wouldn't be without them.

Now rubbish bins are their favourite, you can guarantee put the bin liner in the bin and between them they manage to drag it back out.....lol.

Sadly my Barny is now deaf and almost totally blind. He has cateracts over both his eyes but he is still a nice friendly little dog. He no longer barks at the postman though as he can't hear him and when the post drops on the mat Barny is usually asleep on it and I pick the mail up off him. Crazy - what do you feed your cockers? I always fed Barny Pedigree Chum but he's gone off that now and loves the Butchers tins. Tried the Pedigree Chum Senior but he didn't like that at all. For treats he gets a Ceasar Square tub- he loves that.
