The one I get with Labradors all the time is that they are meant to carry extra weight, they were bred to retrieve in water so they need a covering like a seal etc. Actually, their ancestors were bred to help retrieve fishing nets, Labradors were developed to be an all round retriever, including, but not exclusively working in water and should have a double coat to keep them warm. I've even been told my girls can't possibly be pedigree as they're too skinny.
I believe people say that about your Labs it's really a shame. As the ones they see on TV are all over weight at least here in the states. LOL this one was great 3. BUT FOOD IS THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES HIM HAPPY. Yeah, because there’s something very bizarre about what you consider "happy."
