It'll probably last a couple of weeks till she outgrows it!

My lot have got no sense of size when it comes to beds. The Chihuahua will take over the biggest bed meant for the Standard Poodle, and the Cocker Spaniel will somehow squash himself into the tiny bed. I don't know why I bother - especially as they prefer the sofa anyway!

We'll see how it goes. I didn't spend a fortune for that reason.

You can probably see here bursas ?

Left bum cheek in the 3rd pic & elbow in the 4th pic.

Fairly common but at this point I'm just doing all I can to provide some comfy support for her.

It's a modestly priced stop gap Azz. The other two will make use of it I'm sure.

I had to make sure Gertie the lurcher - very bony of course - always had somewhere suitable to lie. The others would be quite happy to stretch out on the paving slabs on the patio, but I always put a waterproof mattress down for her.

My Skye (deerhound x old English sheepdog) was the same. Like Skye, Willow likes cold hard surfaces so I have to keep moving her.

I always used a single & double size bed mattress when I had my large dogs, as I refused to allow them on sofa & my bed, but it never worked as soon as I left for work they would jump straight up on the sofa & they would somehow manage to turn the knob on my bedroom door & jump up on to my bed also.

When I got married and moved in to my husband's flat along with Blodwen my border collie, he was under the delusion that she would not be allowed on the sofa. Being the intelligent dog she was, she stayed in her dog bed while we were there, and was always in her dog bed when we returned home. One day though in the car park I happened to glance up at the window - it was a first floor flat - and there she was comfortably stretched out on the sofa. For all I know, she could have put the telly on as well!

Yes they are sneaky little sods my dogs would be back on their own mattresses looking all sweet & innocent when I got back.
I was blaming my ex boyfriend for not making the bed & putting the sofa cushions on the floor, he use to put the cushions on floor & lie on them why playing his PlayStation, it was only when l set up CCTV camera's in family room & bedroom that I realize my ex was telling the truth, it was the dogs & not him messing up the bed & pulling the cushions off the sofa.

    I can relate to that.

Karen has been blaming me for the vodka disappearing. What can you do.

That's the trouble with the high volume stuff Phil - it evaporates so quickly! Same thing happens to my Greenalls gin.

Looks like they like the new bed. I got a similar one but not as big. Just liked the fact it is fluffy & water resistant.

Tikva thinks that her bed is to keep her toys in - I think she has too many as she has a full toy box as well - and that her real bed is the couch.

The only time she is in her own bed is to roll onto her back and dig her was through the toys. Then she turns the thing over and everything goes all over the place, including the mattress.

Oh, and she is now legal as Vadim turned up yesterday out of the blue to give her her rabies shot and to microchip her. I was rather [very] surprised as I had not even telephoned him and it usually takes him a couple of weeks [and calls] before he does, so Ram must have spoken to him.
