I am currently looking to adopt a Malshi. This puppy is posted on our local classified ads and identified as a Malshi. She does not look much like the other pics of Malshis that I have seen. Can anyone give me an opinion of whether or not this might be a Malshi--she is very cute, however!! Thank you very much!!
Hello Lorig, welcome to Breedia. If you mean a Maltese x Shih Tzu - I doubt it. She is a pretty puppy, and this is only my opinion, but I would expect a shorter leg, and the ear set doesn't look right, (both Maltese and Shih Tzu have fully dropped ears). I would also expect to see a shorter, wider muzzle. See what some of the others members think. A caution. Do beware of classified ads. This is often the way that dog dealers dispose of their puppies. If you decide to go and view, make sure that you see the mother - you will be able to tell from her reactions whether it is her puppy, or not. Don't accept any excuses - if it doesn't feel right, walk away.
