I knew Leonbergers where from cross breeding, but by looks, I would say this was the foundation of them.
Maybe? I've not seen it mention when I'd read about them BUT that doesn't mean it isn't so. As I'm sure not every breed used to create them was included and I've read a couple different variations on breeds used.
