Getting his coat ready for Crufts, its in a bit of a state at the moment, as he is still in coat change, so a little bathing and brushing is in order ......
How are you going to manage to keep Figo clean between now and Friday, Jackie? Gwylim is only an itsy bitsy sized boy but 5 minutes after grooming him he'll be covered in mud again! He loves to be primped and pampered which helps even though he's suddenly decided he prefers being groomed lying on his back with his legs stuck up in the air! Most undignified.
It's 2 weeks on Friday....there is no way I can keek him clean , he will have a bath evey week till CRufts, but the cleaner I keep his coat the easier it will be to keep clean. He will be filthy again tomorrow after his walk in the park ...
Figo looks great! Please keep us updated, how the cruft will be going for the PWDs. Are there any listing how many dogs from our breed will be there?
26 Dogs 22 Bitches. I'm not a fount of all knowledge, it is just that one of the breeds that I am involved with, Bouviers, follow the PWD's in the same ring, and I've just made arrangements to meet a friend there.
Thanks. CaloleC, Not so much dogs here, very interesting how many of them from outside of the UK. I had Crufts invitation a few years ago, but wasn't able to come. Also there is very different judging than in continent. My friend breeder (from other breed) participated several years ago, she was shocked when the judge asked her to make sure, that the dog would put the tail down in movement. The problem was that she worked very hard to make the dog happy at dog shows in general. It's easy to say, that the dog didn't win anything, even if he was the most winning dog in the Europe (in breed) at the time.
