And another tragic message just come through - Domino, the cat who was her son's 10th birthday present, had to be pts this afternoon. So very sorry Shirley. For you and for your son, and for those of us who "knew" the Trouble Tribe. Miss them so much.
What a terrible time for them. I know from their photos how beautiful her Dobermann's were. Such sad news.

Thanks for posting this Malka. Milan was without a doubt a mass of contradictions brought on by her appalling start in life. I was her fifth owner and she was only 8 months old when I took her on. She could be the most loving dog and missed Syd and Rio terribly, Diesel stepped up and never failed to cuddle up to her or finish her bones off lol. I'm glad for her that she was totally unaware of what was going on at the end. It was quite shocking for me but far easier for her. She will indeed be the last Dobermann simply because of my health issues.
So sorry to read of your loss. It is always especially sad to lose the last member of your chosen breed.
I posted elsewhere but I am really sorry for your loss, I revall you saying how long you hankered for dobes--Must be hard knowing she'll be the last. You will become one of those crazy pug ladies now though
