Well this is a turn up for the books ....our Malka disappearing just like that! Mind you I wouldn't be surprised if she hasn't run off with one of those delumptious men of hers for a romantic interlude!

OK now you rotten lot have finished with me - I went across to the macolet and asked Chai if I could please use his laptop to say I would be offline but I did not know how to do so, as his laptop is in Ivrit although can be changed to English so Chai posted the message for me after I told him my user name and password, and he said but that is not your name but hey, who cares. I had to get a message through and with no internet, which I NOW HAVE YIPPEE but have lost a couple of landline telephones, or something - but Chai posted the message as I do not know how to use a stupid laptop which is small and also in Ivrit although it is English something or other sorted. Or something. I looked and said no can do please just post a message for me. So he did and I thought you would know it was not me as no capitals plus I do not use abbreviations like "don't" blah blah blah. After screeching my head off yet another techie turned up this morning, as did Effie, my computer guy - with four new sets of wireless keyboards and mouses [did I really ask him for four?] and he sorted out the techie - turns out three things wrong but now fixed but I do not know what - Effie did all the sorting out with the techie, just telling me to relax he would sort it. Something about a main telephone thing outside and my two main landline incomings. Or something. So he, Effie, went over to the macolet and in an emergency I can use Chai's wireless wifi wotsit - he gave Effie his number/password and Effie had a thing which is now connected to my PC but will only be connected to Chai's wifi if necessary. If not, it is not conected but can be in an emergency. And I have now found three ADSL plugs which should have been plugged into somwhere but are not, and have no idea which telephones actually work.
So that's your excuse .... and you're sticking to it??????????? Good to havz yer back though coz we've missed ya ever so.
Thank goodness you're back. I don't like to tell tales, but some people here have been saying the most shocking things about you behind your back.
Yerst, dat be wot I sez. Soz if you missed me but dunno if you did. If you did, tah muchly. Me most grateful. I still do not know what happened. Problem started Friday last week, not sure, could have been Thursday late night but called Friday morning and was told router,as it was coming on and off - techies here Sunday and Monday, all dundit - bit went off again think around 11pm Wednesday? Well, just after I had given Pereg her pills. Right balagan yesterday when my IP says it is the phone company and the phone company said they fixed it last week and I am still saying ess oh dee my internet is off again. I do not know. I am quite computer savvy and Effie had turned up to bring me the new wireless keyboard and mouse sets [did I REALLY ask him for four sets of did he just know I kill them regularly?]. So he turned up when the techie turned up so I just kept well out of it as the techie did not speak English so I left it up to Effie. Who then had a wireless wotsit in his van but said I would need someone with wireless internet I could link into in an emergency - and that hust happens to be Chai from the macolet. Who knows it will only be in an emergency. And now after another couple of days of no internet I have around 128 emails sitting in various email boxes to open and check. Maybe I will just delete the lot I mean HOW many?
I am missing few days here or are you few days in front of us Malka ? As today is Friday not Sunday here. Ladies did you notice Malka had 2 young men in her home at the same time Welcome back Malka x
Tina - fankx for de welcome back and I knows you ain't fick but better start again. Last Friday, 5 December, internet went off. Router flashed red then green then red then green... ...and internet came back. Bit erratic but back and red lights stopped flashing. Mind you I had already given my IP an earful on the phone and they had said it was my router so would send me another one with a techie on Sunday. From telephone service who supply the wotsit for my internet which comes from my Internet Provider. Sunday 7 December techie turned up, said nothing wrong with my router, problem outside. Maybe because we hadda lotta rain the other week? Did some work outside, went, but not before organising another techie to come the next day, Monday 8 December. Who did more work outside then went across the road, put up a ladder and climbed up a pole [no, not a Pole] and said all OK. Tuesday 9 December or Wednesday 10 December - I am so sleep deprived that I do not know, just after I gave Pereg her 11pm meds, router goes red/green/red/green/red/ blah blah and internet went. I mean it went. Pete Tong. Dunno but think it was Wednesday 10 December. Malka thinks oh booger, got to tell that lot I am still alive - just. So went over to the macolet and asked Chai if I could use his laptop to log in and explain. But I could not use it so the original message on this thread was typed by Chai, who needed a bit of explanation as to why I am known as Malka on here. But we will not go into that. Right Tina, are you still with me? So no internet yesterday with me telephoning my IP non-stop and demanding service etc etc etc you really do not want to know. So they eventually said OK, techie tomorrow, ie today. Which is Friday 12 December. And it just so happened that I had been able to get hold of Effie, my computer guy, asking him for something about wifi - not that I knew what I was talking about, and Effie turned up just as the techie turned up. The techie has fixed things - I HOPE - but I have apparently lost the two landline telephones although the wireless ones still work. Only they do not if there is a power cut. Never mine, landline telephones only cost peanuts and Effie will pick up a couple of cheapos for me. Are you still with me Tina? Oi you, just because Tina gets confuddled does not mean that I am. I think. In the meantime, I now have a something conhookdid to my PC somewhere that, if I lose internet again, I can plug something into it and BINGO I am conhookdid to Chai's wifi across the road! Do Not Ask.
Yes not lost any days ......... But you lost me halfway as not clued up on computers if mine breaks I yell help down phone to nephew & he comes fix it for me xx
Tina dearest - it was not my computer that went Pete Tong - it was something outside which had to do with the telephone lines wot the internet comes fru. And I have now discovered that my printer has been disconhookded but I do not think it was working so do not care. Now. Why did Effie bring me four sets of wireless keyboards/mouse/things wot get plugged in to run them? I mean I know I asked him to get me some more but thought I only asked for another two and I think I still have a new one...somewhere. Yeah, well, these are different as since I went onto wireless I have had Logitech K260 and he has now brought me Microsoft Wireless 2000 which are - oh heck, I have yet to open one but it will mean getting used to them. I have only killed one computer, about eight months after Effie built it for me? But I kept it going with the front and side stuck on with sellotape and the on/off switch that flew across the room fixed back, until he built me a smaller one which fitted on a shelf. But I kill keyboards. Drowned an 8 day old one when I opened a large bottle of diet cola and it exploded. Killed other keyboards by knocking them on the floor. Killed other keyboards by Da Booga knocking them on the floor when I have forgotten to turn them up on end so she cannot get tissues she knows are behind them. I really do not want to open the new sets - I mean what happens if they are nbg?
