I recently adopted 2 senior litter mates, they are 12 years old but very spry and active. Despite the breed, I am still very allergic to them, therefore I am having to bathe them weekly. I am doing all the things I can do to limit it (allergy meds, daily vacuuming, weekly house cleaners), but I still find I need to bathe them weekly. One dog is fine with it, but the other is starting to get sensitive dry skin. Any recommendations for gentle soap and/or supplemental oils, etc. Thanks!
Meant to say Earthbath is the shampoo I use. Obtained from our groomer here in UK but made in San Francisco USA. Our breede said Porties are different to most other dogs and it wouldn'T matter if you washed them every other day...I'm sorry you are allergic to PWDs - it's very unusual but can happen. I got Crusoe as my husband is allergic to dogs. He has been fine with Crusoe for five years. However, my sister-in-law is allergic allergic to C so tis possible. Best shampoo is Earthborn
