I'm back to work Wednesday, I'm a private nanny and that's when my children I look after are back. Can't complain had 6 weeks off, but I will miss my dogs.

Much to my surprise [and delight!] our schools did actually open yesterday! It was uncertain whether they would until Sunday, as so many schools are not protected/safe but when Pereg went out for a pee after the alarm clock woke me for her 7am medication, there were some of the older children sitting on the bench diagonally across the road waiting for the school buses to take them to their Upper schools in either Kiryat Gat or Kiryat Malachi.

I did not see the school buses bringing children from various Moshavim and Kibbutzim to the schools on our Moshav though, but if the Upper schools were open I am sure ours must have been.

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I love it when the Kids go back to school as it means the dogs can now go off leads & run about on parks [during school holidays all dogs have to be on leads on park] plus it means only 12 days till my holiday yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I agree Tina - I always feel I've got to be ultra cautious when there are kids about.
Also, what about all the rubbish they leave behind them! Charles always says they will carry their cans of drink for miles, but never think to take the empties back with them. We get slated for dog poo, but it's the doggy regulars that carry plastic bags and tidy all the cans and bottles away.

Yes Carole when I went through park to go to work, there was crisps packets, MacDonald cartons chip wrappers & pizza boxes littered on ground around the picnic area, yet there are bins next to each table, it takes no effort to bin these but they prefer to leave them laying around, yet these same people are quick to yell at dog owners who have not yet picked up their dogs poo

I would kill to be able to do a proper walk right now. Shadow is eating her way through toys at the moment until she can have her jabs. I need to get her out in the garden so I can properly toilet train her and get her running around like a loon out there.
