My poor pup

Sorry i have not been around for a while Bruce has been ill with a infection as a German Shepard attacked him in the field took a large chunk out of his side.
So i have been looking after him.

I am so very sorry to hear that, and hope that Bruce is now well on the way to recovery.

Sending lots and lots of cyber "get well soon Bruce {{{vibes}}} to him, and feel good (((hugs))) to you.

What an awful thing to happen - I hope he'll be back to normal very soon and that the incident hasn't knocked his confidence.

Poor Bruce, hope he recovers soon and he still has his confidence.

Thank you all for your kindness he is starting to heal but slowly and getting back to his old self again.
Its been hard more for him than us. Because the collar the vet gave us was causing him a lot of stress we cut up my husbands t shirts and put them on he put up with them now i have to go and get my husband new t shirts.
Sadly we never got the owner's name or address as we just wanted to get him home and we never seen him again he just said the dog was having a bad day but he was still of lead I dont blame the other dog i blame the owner if he knew it was having a bad day it should not have been off lead.
It has been very costly but he is worth every penny

So sorry to hear about Bruce. Sending hugs, good vibes and prayers to both of you. Very good of your husband to "donate" his shirts to such a worthy cause, so give him some, too!!!

So sorry Chris. You're right to blame the owner, and I wish you had them to call to account for Bruce's suffering.

I've had to do shirts after surgery too. I've found that charity shops are brilliant: kid sized clothes can be perfect for dogs and are generally washable. Berkeley's little knitted waistcoat got many comments!

He is healing well and hope he can get back out to play with his friends soon
