    Minature Jack Russell

    Met a 'Min' JR the other night xxx I have to be honest I am not usually a great fan of 'little' dogs but he was absolutely fab xxxxxx Such a lovely little thing, full of it, well behaved (only 4 mths old), a real cuddly boy and such a cutie xxxx

    I think the wee dogs have big personalities. some can be annoying but most are lovely funny animals.

    Whats a miniature Jack Russell? I do hope its not in the same vein as the ridiculous "Pocket Jack Russell" or Miniature Yorkshire terrier!

    See i always got told, from the worky folk, there were a sort of miniature JRT, but in reality it wasn't a specific trait as they just occured some strains smaller than others, just like in sometihng like working style ESS..lots of variety. Nowdays they seem to be crossed with a lot of chi's/paps/yorkies and sold as minis, hence lots and lots of "funny" colours cropping up it seems.

    I have been keeping an eye open for a wee JRT rescue...I think they are fab wee dogs.

    My wee guy is all working strain, he measures about 10 ins to the shoulder, a tiny tot but robust, I think his mum may have been even smaller!
