I took 2 of my dogs K9 & Skye to Skegness today by train (never again am I taking Skye on train) they had brilliant time, only problem was Skye running after seagulls & ending up on the no dog on beach area, got warned 3 times about her being on the no dog area of beach, so at to put her back on her lead. The 4 hooligans were at agility competition with my Uncle, Aunty & their 3 sons, its the first time in 4 & 1/2 years we have manage to spend the whole day with just K9 & Skye, So decided to go by train to Skegness they had a whale of a time.
Best thing was we never thought about buying a towel, when we were in Penny's Bargains, so at to use one of the t-shirts we brought from there x
Great pics! My parents just bought a caravan up that way, and we was there this weekend. We took a walk at Moggs Eye beach...or at least we think it was Moggs Eye. We had a great long stretch to ourselves, we paddled, we played ball, we enjoyed the gorgeous weather.
Moggs Eye beach if I remember right is near to Anderby Creek, its brilliant up that part as dogs are allowed on beach all year round
Lovely photos Tina of you and your dogs having so much fun! When I was a child we often went to Skeggy for the day. Sometimes you'd get there to find the tide had gone so far out you could only see the sea on the horizon and to get to it you'd have to wade through thick sticky black mud. The highlight of the day was having fish and chips at my parents favourite cafe ... I still remember how delicious they were ... happy happy memories!
