Assuming you mean things like PCs, laptops, Smart phones, tablets, and all the various iPhones/pads/etc... ...with no smart phone or any of the other things, just a PC - believe it or not my favourite things are my wireless keyboard and wireless mouse! Not only are there two less cables but I only have one table and it is a very small one. So my psc and my monitor have to sit on it as well as keyboard and mouse. But as I also need the table to eat, being wireless I can shift both out of the way and have enough table space to enable me to eat. Simple things please simple minds!
Most definitely my car, a 1 litre Suzuki Swift called Noddy. Although he only does 75mph flat out he's a sturdy little workhorse who never lets me down. He's carried us all from Hungary to Cornwall and back a couple of times without complaint, through all kinds of weather and even though he's now 12 years old I wouldn't swop him for all the tea in China!
Maybe I am weird but I never connect my wheels with technology. To me they serve a purpose giving me freedom of movement.
I have a whole collection of cordless drills, no one is ever at a loss for buying me pressies. Having just spent the whole weekend single handedly reconstructing the fitted wardrobes in my bedroom after decorating it is currently my best friend
I recently had to get a large screw hook into my wooden door frame. First I had to hammer a nail in to even make a dent. It did that. Just made a dent. So then it was time for a larger nail. Which went in a wee bit further. Then fished out a very old auger like this and tried to actually get the threads to bite. Eventually, with the help of a pair of pliers, I managed to get the screw hook in place. I then had to do the same on the door and another two on the opposite side of the door frame. I would have done anything for a cordless drill!
There was a time when the wheel, the petrol engine and the car were wonders of modern technology not something we now take for granted. When I'm in my car I forget any problems and worries because I find driving a really relaxing and enjoyable activity BUT this is what I'd really like ....
You should have been here last year then Barbara when those things drove me crazy! I am sure they would not have missed the odd one or three! I do not have a car - my wheels either run on batteries or are self-propelled. But then again the batteries have to be recharged using electricity, and there was a time when electricity did not exist either...
im not a techy person i have a laptop, flip, iphone and kindle. at the moment it has to be my kindle as i love reading but i think when i finally get a super camera it will be my super camera
I don't really have a lot of technical gadgets my phone is an ancient model but I do love my laptop which means I can shop/bank/chat without leaving home.
I own a table top computer, laptop, ipad & smart phone can't work any of them without crashing them or deleting important files, but one item I can't live without is my Kindle, it goes everywhere with me
oo you got a fancy one. mines the original but i love it all the same. im a bit ocd with my tech. they should only do 1 thing. so my kindle is for reading, my camera is for taking photos and my flip is for filming. only my phone that i like doing more than one thing.
