In my view, no other breed can match up to the GSD. I am fortunate enough to share my life with three of these lovely dogs and having owned the breed for over 15 years now, I can't see me ever wanting anything else. Here are my three. Flame - she is now 12 years old, is a very special older lady and the matriarch of the household. This photo was taken on her 12th Birthday <3 Yogi is now 5 years and is a grump, a handsome grump, but we love him ;-) Zak has been with me for two years (since he was 8 months) and is turning into the type of GSD I have always dreamed of owning. He has a wonderful temperament, good drives and is gorgeous to boot. I couldn't be happier with him.
Lovely trio Moobli... but Zak has to be my favourite He is the sort of GSD I would probably go for myself I like his smart looking expression - looks loveable but you wouldn't want to mess with him either
Thank you both. I am a complete working line GSD convert (see the other thread! ) and I can't see me having any other type of GSD in future.
That is exactly right Azz. Zak looks like a real tough guy and quite imposing with his direct stare, but he has a very sociable nature and will make friends with anyone (especially if you throw his ball for him)
Thanks Bonni. I only have one show type GSD - the middle one, Yogi the longcoat. I do love him, but wouldn't have another show line. It is working line all the way for me from now on.
