Hi Im Phil and i have a Jack called Buddy, hes getting an old boy now nearly 11 but try telling him that. we go everywhere we can together and if he cant go i get him a babysitter lol yes i am trained well and hes spoilt rotten as i go to the local grocery shop and get him fresh hot roast chicken for his tea. hes partial to a cup of cocoa before bed time and takes his toys to bed with him which as he sleeps in my arms means i can wake up to anything from a pigs ear bone or teddy in my bed or on occasion the lot so its quite possible that i will remain single for a while. i have had a few breeds over the years staffies, labs, cross corgi bassets and now him but i have to say jacks are my favourite. Buddy has been by my side through a decline in health into disability and when i am at my worst hes always at his best giving me a reason to get up and plod on, without him i would be lost. if someone could offer me anything in the world all i would want is more time with him. keep your cars and houses ive had more love and happiness with him and he has kept me warm when very poorly and not budged from my side. i could not wish for a better companion and would recommend Jacks to anyone in a heartbeat although i think like most owners that mine is the best.
Aww what a wonderful, sweet story of Buddy. He's sounds like a real pal, and looks like a smasher too I love that photo of him, you can tell how happy and how loved he is (we will have to get it on the JRT page). This is one of the reasons I love running dog related forums, because you get to hear of such amazing bonds between man and his best friend. Thanks for joining, and sharing
my pleasure he truly is a wonderful dog and a credit to the breed everyone seems to love him.when i moved to my new home for ex servicemen the new neighbours took me to a local pets in the park show with a dog show. The new neighbour had dobermans and a jack bitch called Tink. i was talked into entering buddy into the competitions and as you can see from the attached photo he got placed in everything he was entered into and even scooped the big prize the pet respect cup. Please feel free to use any photos for the breed info i would be really chuffed
Well I am not surprised he won - he looks super Thanks for letting us use the photos - I want to make some changes to the main profiles (add a facility where we can link to the associated photo thread - so people can read the comments that people make too). I just posted a thread in announcements regarding photos for the profiles - so we'll have a list of everyone on there, keep checking back and please don't hesitate to remind me if I forget - I want everyones dogs featured!
Hello and welcome from Pereg and from me! I said hello to you on Phil's thread as you are another Phil, but thought you deserved a special hello just for you and Buddy!
Oh goody, another Jack has arrived! Oh sorry Phil, and you of course! My attention was caught by the fact that Buddy has to have a baby sitting service, because my Jimmi is the same.
