Hello Simba welcome .It is difficult to be precise about the breed of your puppy from a couple of indistinct photographs and I am not expert on Akitas. Where did you get your puppy from and how old is it
I agree with the others, it's VERY hard to tell from those blurry pics! Could be akita, could be husky or husky mix. Could even be other types of spitz or Shiba Inu but without some more info and better photos it's difficult to say. For a start, how old is the puppy? Hi by the way!

Hi no Idea but he looks a little bit husky to me to but I have no idea what a Akita pup should look like? Just wondering if you have wormed him, he looks a little bit pot bellied x x
yes he had been given his initial worming and flea treatment and is one due in few days...........also we visited the vet day before yesterday........................
Sorry didn't mean to offend, did you see pup with his mum? what was she and how old is pup? so we have an idea of size to age
yes I have seen the mum she is pure white akita and for the dad only photos were there and its fine inputs are much appreciated also saw him with the mum and one more sis when I got him he was 10 weeks old that is week ago so he is nearly 2 months and 2 weeks and will be 3 weeks on 19 this month Weighs 6.6 Kgs today Thanks
Maybe it's his colouring that is putting me off, I usually think of Akitas as dark faced but I haven't had any experience with them in the flesh/fur, he is gorgeous, he looks a good size for his age but hopefully someone who knows more about the breed will advise you better x
There was me thinking it was the right colour! I s'pose I was thinking of a husky! Already weighs more than my 3yr old min pin!
The face just doesn't scream Akita to me. Their muzzles are usually shorter and broader and just stockier overall. Adorable puppy!
Here are a couple of pictures of my Akita at 8 weeks old so a couple of weeks younger than yours. My gut tells me that your puppy is not full Akita and has been crossed with something else due to a couple of things, shape of face and size/shape of ears, colour, although Akitas come in pinto markings I would expect to see a face mask even if it was a pale one, he is still beautiful though. Have you had the puppies KC registration papers and a pedigree?
Hi Simba I hope you don't mind if I say something, this is an observation and not in any way a criticism . We get a number of people on here who have acquired new puppies saying 'does my puppy look like or is this such and such a breed ' (I am not talking about people asking what mix their cross breed rescues puppies are). I would say the time for asking questions on the origins of a puppy is when a person goes to view a puppy having first done their homework on the breed not once they get their puppy home. Simba you have now bought a beautiful puppy, now you have it I would care for it well and enjoy it.
