Hello All.... This is Duncan, I got him from the pound over a year ago; he's just a little over 2 yrs old now... He as grass/weed allergies and has twice had a condition that makes it near impossible for him to open his mouth (mmm i think is what its called).... He also had separation anxiety for a while when I first got him (almost got me kicked out of apartment)... He's overcome that and now just sits out the bed looking out the window until I get home (or he finds the loaf of bread on the counter, or sometimes the chicken that i left out to thaw)...
If you have any guesses as to what he is it would be appreciated.... when I got him the pound said he was a "bulldog/hound" mix
Lovely dog. As you are in the US it's probably easier for folk there to guess at the cross - according to what crosses are more common there! Who cares anyway! He is a handsome boy. Well done for taking him on and persisting with him with his various problems.
He certainly looks as though there is a bit of hound there, especially in the last photo. I'm not very familiar with the various 'pit' breeds but would guess that's his main breed. Nice looking dog whatever he is!
