    English National Sheepdog Trials

    The English National Sheepdog Trial is taking place from 2 Aug - 4 Aug at Over Kellet, Lancashire.

    We were hoping to get to see a good friend running with one of our home bred dogs yesterday (sold as a part-trained youngster), but had to come home due to having a sick child :-(

    I am so pleased to say that he won Thursday's trial, and so will now be in the English Team for the International later this year :grin:

    Congratulations to Mark and Tip.

    Great news - such a shame you had to come home early though:(

    The Scottish Nationals are in a couple of weeks time at Strathaven..I'll be there the Thursday and Saturday.

    I'd love to go and watch some sheepdogs trials, I love watching it on the TV.

    Thanks everyone. We are chuffed to bits for Mark and Tip. Fingers crossed for the run off for English champion this afternoon, and then for the International in September.

    Reserve English National Champion
    English National Driving Champion

    Brilliant stuff :D

    Thanks both. Mark is an outstanding handler and Tip and outstanding sheepdog :) A winning team.

    They will now go on to represent England in the International Driving Championship at the International Trial in Cardiff in September, as well as being in the English team. Fantastic.
