Doesn't look like a pure husky to me.

I would say GSDxHusky, or an NI or similar?

    Nice looking dog.

Same here. I wouldn't disagree with Malka anyway - the acknowledged expert on identifying x breeds!

Morning Malka! How's your bit of the middle east today?

For me its the ears that mark this chappie as an x if you ask me. Never seen a sibe with ears that big! :)

Ears to big and muzzle to square for a SH.

Goodness knows I'm no expert, but doesn't resemble any of the Huskies I see regularly. Really nice dog though, very sweet face :)

Unfortunately I have - some of the purebred sibes we get into rescue nowadays (the result of indiscriminate breeding of poor specimens) look very little like the breed standard. This one does look like a typical NI though.

So.....at what point is a GSD x Husky a NI?

Does it just depend if it is registered as such and you know which GSD was crossed with which Husky i.e. there is a family tree/pedigree?

I have recorded it but not watched it yet :)

Yes it was the issue of what's on the register and what's off that I wondered about.

I refer to saluki x lurchers as "salukalikes":)
