Same breed as mine and also similar colour but my dogs got border collie ears but is tall like a german shephard.His dad was gsd,mum was collie. many people say they can see flat coat retriever in him so wonder if she could have been a collie cross but we were told collie.

Alfie looks like my collie x golden retriever Dingo back on page 1. Right down to his hairy toes and papillonesque fluff round his ears.

Another Collie x GSD here! This is 10 yr old Ellie, the canine love of my life:









I find it hard to deal with the idea of her getting older I hope she has years and years to come yet! I absolutely love this cross and would actively seek out another when Ellie passes; although she has her fair share of collie-esque neurotic moments, she's the most loving and affectionate dog anyone can wish for.

What an incredibly beautiful dog. Definitely some collie in there....

They are all beautiful dogs I'll try and find a photo of my old family dog who was a collie x. and was the kindest, sweetest dog in the world.

The quality of these aren't good as they are photos I've taken of a couple of old photos.
The b&w photo is of when Rowley was about a year old (my grandmother's leg's in the photo ) and then the colour one is when he was an old man. He lived to be 17 which was wonderful and was a fab family dog. The only trouble was that he wasn't castrated (it was never even suggested in those days and few dogs were) so he did spend a lot of time escaping over a 6' fence to service the local bitches.

Some beaaaaautiful looking dogs in this thread! Collies definitely make some of the most attractive crosses in my humble opinion
