Had to google the Harzer Fuchs as I'd never heard of this breed before - wow - they are very much like a Tervueren - are they related to the BSD ?
Hee hee - you have been well and truly won over after all . What a shame you don't live nearer as you could have met him in the flesh.
http://longhaireddutchshepherd.com/DutchConnection.html please can I have one of these please? Or failing that a Working Cocker or Springer please x
Oh I forgot Tibetan Mastiff! Would need to do some working out on my biceps first though I think! OH and I would also like another Rottweiler too, working line.
I've owned several different breeds of dogs but nowadays there's only one breed for me .... a Shar-Pei! Since my lovely Pei girl died a few months ago, Chloe her Tibetan Spaniel sister (also on my dream breed list) and I have been so lost without her ...... but good news .... all being well Santa Claus is bringing us a Peiby girl for Christmas!
If I wasn't in wheelchair I think Alaskan Malamute's are beautiful dogs I'd love an whole sled team! Medium dogs: I love Border collies if I lived on a farm and had a quad bike or all terrain chair! I'm still looking for my perfect small breed!
I already have one of mine - GSD! Another one of mine that I grew up with and will definitely own again one day is the Japanese Akita. Others on my dream wishlist are : BSD (Laekenois - the ones with the fuzzy coat) BMD St. Bernard (if I can find one that doesn't drool too much) Giant Schnauzer I'll always own GSDs but would go now more for the WL than SL GSDs. I'm not so interested in showing anymore because of the back biting and nastiness that goes with it, although I know there are a lot of shows that are very friendly. But I like to train and be involved with my dogs a lot so a WL GSD with a medium drive that wants to train but will go to sleep at some point would be perfect. In fact, Jenzi would be just right if her hips weren't a problem. And of course, Kirsty's Zak (who I did meet in the flesh when I picked up Koda - jealous??)
Leonberger, Newfoundland, English mastif, Red setter, GSD, Alaskan Malamute, Irish wolfhound, Great dane, Long haired cream dapple dachshund, Apricot standard poodle, Red sheltie, Sheba inu, Douge de bordoux and a bernese mountain dog, golden retriever, english springer, english bull terrier Now i just have to narrow this long list down
Make that a Rhodesian ridgeback, completely fell in love with them when a work mate was talking about them, I hadn't really known much about them as I've never seen one, but after watching video after video of them on YouTube I just want one now! In fact, put it to the top of my list!
another 2 border collies! based on looks id love a st Bernard or burnese mountain dogs but know nothing about the breeds x
