No, not for me! A friend has asked about where she can find a good Boxer pup. She lives in Edinburgh. Which lines tend to have good temperaments etc? And what tests should the parents have. Thanks
Health details here . http://www.boxerbreedcouncil.co.uk/health.htm Will show heart scores and such... breeders in Scotland , http://www.glenauldboxers.com/ no personal experiences but know of the kennel name... Same here .. http://walkon_boxers.tripod.com/
hi lokis mum, Carole might be able to help on the breeder front, however its also worth trying the rescue centres - sspca and boxer welfare as many will have pups in that haven't "sold" for xmas I know there are a lot of staffie pups getting brought in and dumped and boxers may be in similar position she would need to call them to ask as they won't advertise them online \
Thanks all, have sent her a message and will see what she says. Not sure whether she wants pet or show because her father in law used to breed and show Boxers, so not sure whether they are going to have a go at that, so will see if she wants a pup from a breeder or rescue.
The best source for information on ANY breed is of course the relevant breed club(s) who will have all the information on the relevant health tests and the secretary of which can steer you in the right direction to members who fulfil their code of ethics/conduct etc.
Nerroli Boxers are out Edinburgh way. They have some lovely boxers. Two gorgeous pups closely related to Finn
