Seen a litter of this cross for sale ... I do wonder what they will end up like looks and temp wise... The advert says they rehomed a TM and then found out she was carrying pups .. Selling for £500
How sad. That really is a strange mix. You'd have absolutely no idea what they might turn out like. Shame the TM's original owners didn't return her to the breeder instead of selling/passing her on. Tms are still a rare breed here and I would think that the breeder would have taken her back.
I did think that at first , they said a''vet'' told them the dad was a husky.. The pups do have husky face markings..
Could also be a malamute, or a cross or even a Border Collie - I've seen collies with similar markings. If the new owner really gave a monkeys though they would be more concerned with finding good homes than selling the babies at £500 each.
Someone had an accidental litter like this last year. They owned both parents and said they had the parents neutered afterwards. I hope they did. And the vet is just guessing. It's not uncommon for a black and tan TM to have similar markings to some huskies. Needless to say I'm horrified and fear for the future of these poor puppies that didn't ask to be brought into the world. If they are indeed TM cross sibes or malamutes, they are going to be more than a handful as none of the breeds are easy to begin with. ETA - Just found advert. Ready at 6 weeks old. AAAAAAAAARGH! I hope they neuter her with the several thousand pounds they'll get off the puppies rather than think it's a great idea to do again next year. And I don't think it's the same people as last time as the breeder of the TM knew about it.
I only found a picture of mum with the litter, no individual pup pics and they were still on for £500, maybe I found a different ad for the same litter...
I am wondering if it is the same ad i looked at. Even though we are now feb there is a current ad for this cross mix and they are over 12 weeks. Pictures of the mum and puppies on view. Mum got sent away. unknown dad etc etc not expected as they did not know she was pregnant.
what a shame 2 already looking for new homes looking to rehome my husky cross tibetan mastiff pupps. 2 brothers about 14 weeks old,
