    What Breed is Lucy?

Just adopted this Puppy was told shes about 10 weeks old but the man that was trying to get rid of her knew nothing about her parents or breed, trying to figure out what Lucy is, shes really sweet but doesn't listen well when shes exploring, she acts almost deaf when I call her when shes got her nose to the ground, not sure if thats something to do with her breeding or just bad training in the past. Any Guesses?http://www.flickr.com/photos/64849692@N08/5898303000/

Shes a lovely girl. If she loves following scents she is probably some sort of hound cross. My 1/2 basset hound is always following a scent. Those ears are very hound like

I was thinking some kind of hound too, I am hoping she gets nice and big, I have an 80 pound year old lab puppy that really needed a friend to play with.

I'd say coonhound mix, given where you are from. She's lovely! What does her bark sound like, that will be telling. Is is a bark like your lab, or more of a baying sound?

Those ears, big feet, black and tan and tracking nature look like a coonhound cross to me :)

Just met Lucy's brother tonight, he was adopted straight from the people who had the parents. Lucy is a Walker Coonhound mixed with an Afghan Hound. Thanks everyone for your input!

Yes, a lot, just different coloring, I think shes mostly Coonhound, I don't see much afghan at all in her, maybe just the longer nose but the rest of her is all coonhound.
