Yessss, after almost a year and then five dreadfully slow weeks, I have finally got my pug puppy! I got her on Friday - she is very very cute and very very cheeky! She settled in very well, I expected her to be sad or lonely or something but she wasn't at all, she just got exploring her new home and then started playing! She licked everybody but she particularly liked to chase and attack your toes, trousers, jumpers, zips, etc. etc. but she is better behaved already! She is quite funny, instead of biting/mouthing zips, she sits on her back legs and stretches out her front legs and paws at it ! However, concerning house training, she is quite :? I know pugs don't usually get reliably house trained until months on, even more than a year, but she was so well the first two days and nights. She peed and pooed on the pads only, and I was so pleased at her cleverness. Then all of a sudden she was toileting everywhere, even as if she was dodging the puppy pads? I think she got a bit confused because she wet herself in her sleep in her big bed and we didn't notice till morning, so it wasn't cleaned up. And then we took her to my mum's house and she peed twice on the floor I think thats why she has worsened, but now we're starting from scratch again. Never mind, I absolutely adore her, her name's Lili. She is just irresistable!!!!!! She is totally a people dog, yet she doesn't cry at night. However, this morning when I was having my breakfast, she whined and whined in her pen and tried to climb out of it I won't give in though!!!! She is just beautiful I had to blether about her. Now I will attempt to add some pictures.... I'll post as soon as they've uploaded onto photobucket!!! Jay.
Lets see if it works..... Lili at 3 weeks, when we first saw her.... Then with my daughter.... Has it worked? Oh well, I'll keep going anyway.... Hahaha right now shes barking in her sleep! ;-)
Yay, it worked!!! Now for more.... 4 weeks 5 weeks 6 weeks.... Sorry about it being so picture heavy!!!! 7 weeks, with siblings and mother (it makes the mum look ugly, btw, shes a lot nicer) And now, at 8 weeks... Once again, sorry about all the pics... but i couldnt choose a favourite!!! ;-) EDIT:- sorry, one of the 8 weeks pictures has been put in 4 weeks
Lucky you I'm still waiting as nothing went according to plan but she'll no doubt get here eventually. You can't post too many Pug pictures.
Her name is Lili and yes she is so sweet! I absolutely love her! Hahaha, she was the fat one though, when we picked her up she was twice the size of her sis!
She is a fan of MaccaPacca, and btw, I have absolutely no idea how to spell that either lol! What went wrong, Trouble?
Everything really, I've had my name on a couple of breeders waiting lists for what seems like forever, first mating didn't result in pregnancy. Second mating only produced 2 pups the breeder obviously kept one and the other went to someone who'd been waiting well over a year. 3rd one only produced males and I'm waiting for a bitch. 4th one produced 4 bitches but I'm still waiting to see them, the breeder doesn't allow viewings till 6 weeks, so fingers crossed it won't be too much longer.
