he looks fantastic, how old is he?

In the top pic he is 11 months, the bottom he is 14 months. He is currently almost 18 months. Thanks.
Here is a link to the pictures that the Admin so nicely deleted since they seem to oppose what a true dogo is supposed to do! He is the ONLY dogo in the US that is Multi Championed AND has proven himself on hogs AND been titled as a Catch Dog!

my god he must be really strong

Yeah, he is a big boy. Currently he is 26 3/4" and 105lbs. He is a good boy! The other dog in the pics is my 6 year old AmBull. She is awesome too!

OK can't you give the people the CHOICE to view the photos or not? WTF is wrong with you people? I can show foo foo pics of a hunting breed but not pics of it doing what it was created for???? You people are too much!!!

Maureen, you were sent a private message letting you know why the link was removed: that this site caters for ALL ages and we deem hunting pictures as inappropriate.

I received NO SUCH email....besides, you say that this board is for all ages....why are you saying hunting is inappropriate for children? I grew up with hunting and started shooting a gun at the age of 7, and that is not unusual here in the US.

Maureen, it was a PM (private message). Hunting and shooting at the age of 7 is unusual here, in addition in the UK, hunting boar in that manner is also illegal. You are welcome to show pictures of your wonderful dogs here, just not the hunting ones, sorry.

In case you think I have something against the Dogo Aregention, let me assure you that it is one of my fave dogs and if it were not banned here, I would have seriously considered one.

Sorry, but deleting a PRIME EXAMPLE of the breed and what it was created to do is going against what I have copied and pasted above. I can understand you not wanting the pics posted directly here, but a link to them gives the person the option of clicking on it or not.

Oh yeah...it is illegal in quite a few states here in the US, but they don't go around deleting links and pics here in the US!

Maureen please try to understand that we have to make decisions to protect our users as we see fit - we would not allow pornographic website 'links' to be placed in Dogweb even on the basis that only those interested (or old enough) should click the link. We make the desicion to remove any links to websites that we believe are not appropriate and I felt that graphic pictures of a Boar being hunted was not.

I love the first one. And by the way, I did not grow up hunting now learning how to shoot at the age of 7, 17, 27 or at all!! How rediculous to make such a fuss.

Why is the breed banned in UK? Are the Cane Corso also a banned breed?
