Firedragon akitas - anyone heard of them?

Anyone heard of Firedragon Akitas before??

Purely nosey on my part. The boarding kennels I went and visited today are the home of Firedragon Akitas. The owner shows and judges, but does not breed anymore.

I got covered in Akita hair and got lovely cuddles from one of their oldies, who is 10 :D

Nope, sorry, but there again I don't know any Akita breeders so that doesn't mean anything, heehee, but I'm jealous you got a cuddle .

Are you going to board your dogs there?

Yes, I Know the breeder of Firedragon Akitas. I have known her since the early 1980's when we were both involved in founding of the breed in the UK.
Although she doesn't breed anymore, she does judge them at Championship level

If they are FireDragon, you can contact them through this link: http://www.4paws-uk.com/. This is the kennels they own and run...

They are not firedragon. However BeauKitas dad is descended from the very first dogs imported from America.
I am currently 10 gens down the line and I want to go further.

I may be able to help you. My first Akita was from the first litter registered in the UK. She was born in 1983. I was very involved with the early imports which included the foundation dogs behind Kiskas, Overhill, Firedragon, who in turn are behind many Akitas of the present day
