Hi, My first post on Dogsey Top photos was taken this past Summer of my three SBT and my wife's feet The second photo if of my pride and joy Mollie, who passed away on December 20th, 2010 of lung cancer. Nothing we could do for her as it had spread so fast without any warning. She died in my arms I miss her so. FredSG
I'm so sorry about Mollie, :-( she looked like a real character. You have beautiful dogs I'm fostering a 3-4 month old Staffie who was on death row. He's just wonderful and so laid back! Staffie's are such an amazing breed.
Thanks to all for your replies. Two more photos of my Staffs - one at bedtime, and one with my "better half". The Staffs are (L) Sammy, (M) Mollie, and (R) Louise (WeeZee). Thanks, FredSG
Murf, Enlighten me, what do you mean by "smaller cobby staffords"? The Staffs with my "better half" from left to right are Sammy 13 months, Mollie (was) 14 years, and Louise 12 years old. Thanks, but again, I am not familiar with the expression "smaller cobby staffords". Or do you mean Colby Staff? FredSG
Murf, I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I can't speak for everyone over here. I have owned both breeds - American Staffordshire Terriers and now Staffordshire Bull Terriers. My ASTs were more of the "bully" appearance. My SBTs have been both "Bully" and "Terrier" in appearance. The photo shows my male Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Max - with a more Terrier appearance. Max passed away 2 years ago. Mollie has a more Bully appearance. She passed away last month. And their daughter Louise, now 12 years old, has her dad's Terrier appearance. Bully or Terrier appearance, I love either type. FredSG
