Our Ruby has been a bit of a mystery - she was sold as Rottie x GSD but she's about the size of a small BC at 10 months old. She also has a white chest and some white toes, and as a pup you could fit her in one hand! When we picked her up, we noticed the owners of the parents also had an entire male short-legged JRT and when we had Ruby a while and saw how small she stayed we got to thinking maybe the litter was fathered by both of their male dogs! I would say she's half GSD. You say she's small but how small because Female Rotts in general are a lot smaller than some people think. My girl is big but she's over breed standard most are a lot smaller.
Rotties can have white on their chests, it's a fault in the show world but happens naturally in purebreds and crosses Kiki's a Rott x GSD and not overly massive, not compared to GSDs anyway, she's about 34kg but does have the Rottie stockiness even if she doesn't have much height. With a more GSD type frame, she'd be probably 30kg I guess - she was 28kg when we got her at 10 months though she was a little underweight for her frame then. You can see the white on her chest a little here, and I've seen pics of Rotties with larger white areas too
she is gorgeous, i dont see jrt in her though but thats just me, if i remember rightly rottie pups can be born with a bit of white on the chest (though undesirable for breed standard) also a rottie bitch isnt meant to be huge in height they are supposed to be between 58 and 64 cm to the shoulder a gsd bitch is only supposed to be about 58 cms to the shoulder aswell ( i had to check the breed standard for both dogs) hope this helps a bit as i said earlier she is absolutly gorgeous though whatever she is xxx
She is absolutley beautiful!!! I very much doubt there is any JRT in her but we may just need some more pics of your gorgeous girl just to make sure lol xx
my neighbour has a Rottie x JRT He does look a lot like your girl, except his legs are much much shorter, and he has huge feet and a long stocky body (almost Basset like). His markings are typical Rottie. I don't think he has any white on him from memory. Your girl is adorable.
She's beautiful. She looks so different from my neighbours GSD x Rottie, she looks like a GSD but with the barrel shaped body of a rottie and the rotties size. I would say she had GSD in her, never would have thought of JRT though. Beutiful none the less
Dont you think my Blitz and your Ruby make such a cute couple? Shocked at how alike do they look!? Blitzs mum waas a white GSD and his dad was a Rottweiler.
She looks very like my GSD x rotti. She is 26kg so also small. Funny seeing how alike they all look. Very nice looking dogs
