Hi fostered a dog last year who looked the spitting image of this and the owners who had mom a jack russell were adamant next doors red setter was the father........:? Could never get my head around that one but stranger things have happened...... :-/

Hello! I'd say thats probably correct. Looks very "pointy" but at the same time "bully" so probably a sight hound X bull breed. He's lovely whatever. Love his color! Like a bright copper penny!
when i had him i was told his dad was a white and black lurcher and his mum a staffy but i cant see how that is possible because a lurcher is much bigger than a staffy so how can that possibly happen i will post some more pics so you can see his height and build thank you all
Hi, You wouldn't believe some of the crosses that are possible. I once had a Lab cross father (and a bloody big one at that) with an Ormskirk Heeler mother (they're about 12 - 18 inches high). We ended up with a miniture Lab with heeler tendencies, I don't think any of my trousers were rip free in those days. Onto your guy, it certainly looks very staffy, and as people have pointed out, a little hint of sight hound. Cracking looking dog.
i definitely see the SBT and think that lurcher looks like it could be highly likely. there is a member on here whos dog is a GSDxCorgi so weird matings are possible
